Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha expressed confidence in his team’s readiness, saying the squad has worked hard to build momentum ahead of the series.
“We are well prepared and focused on playing proactive, brave cricket,” Agha said. “The conditions suit us, and the players are eager to deliver strong performances for our home fans.”
He highlighted the blend of youth and experience in the team as a major strength going into the tournament.

At a separate media briefing, Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka stressed the importance of consistency and execution.
