Rawalpindi – Following Pakistan’s triumph in the T20 Tri-Nation Series final against Sri Lanka yesterday, Salman Ali Agha, a senior team official, confirmed the surprising entry of Shadab Khan into the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

During a press conference held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium after the victory, a journalist asked Agha about Shadab Khan’s inclusion, which many fans and experts had not anticipated. Responding, Agha acknowledged that the selectors had decided to bring Shadab back into the squad due to his all-round capabilities and experience in high-pressure matches. he said

“Shadab has always been a key player for Pakistan in T20 cricket. His skills with both bat and ball make him a valuable asset, especially in crucial situations,” said Salman Ali Agha.

Agha also praised the team’s performance in the Tri-Nation Series, highlighting the outstanding contributions of bowlers Mohammad Nawaz and Shaheen Shah Afridi, which were instrumental in Pakistan’s dominant six-wicket victory over Sri Lanka.
