Dubai : The action-packed sport of MuayThai is set for a major revamp as the promoters announced the Launch of World League of Fighters (WLF), a unique sportainment league that aims to position MuayThai on the global stage. The WLF partners with the prestigious World Boxing Council MuayThai to bring together an unpredictable and never-seen-before league-styled competition, with the potential to branch out to other forms of combat sports.
For the first time in the Combat Sport World, a franchise-based league-style tournament will take place featuring 20 of the world’s best male and female Muay Thai fighters.
The renowned international combat sports stars will be divided into 4 franchises that will compete against each other in a round-robin format, to claim the Coveted WLF * WBC Title Belt.

International cricket council (ICC) and betting companies polluting the whole cricket environment as betting companies like Bet 365 and bet pro are the main sponsors during the Pakistan vs Australia series in Australia.

According to the reliable sources the role of ICC is suspicious and definitely involved in the match fixing with the partnership with betting companies. How it is possible that if a match is live on betting sites so it is for sure that the matches are fixed and billions of dollars are involved in the matches. Cricket is not a game but a business right now.

Pakistan is on tour to Australia and during the first test at Melbourne cricket ground (MCG) boundary sign boards are full of betting sites marketing like Bet365 everyone can watch as a proof.

There are two big betting sites in the world which includes Betfair and Bet365 , if betting company is the sponsor of the event then matches are fixed and betting is on,

ICC should be accountable for polluting the whole cricket environment by involving in the betting but who will ask from ICC? It is a million dollar question.

Match fixing is not a new topic in cricket, lots of cricketers have ruined their career after involving in the match fixing or spot fixing as Pakistani cricketers Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Asif and Salman butt are the famous fixers who sold their country name for the sake of earning illegal money. If players are involved in the fixing and they were punished and banned but now ICC its self is involved in the match fixing so what happens next ?

ICC should make a clarity statement on their involvement in the match fixing with betting companies and tell the whole cricket world about this bullshit which is happening under the banner of ICC.

Islamabad : Aryan replicate Pakistan’s Azam Khan style Dubai, Making an impactful international debut is not a privilege too many cricketers can boast of but Aryan Lakra made his presence felt when he scored 84 on his ODI debut against USA in August, 2022. The Desert Vipers have acquired the services of all-rounder Aryan Lakra for season 2 of the DP World International League T20 after finishing as runners-up in the inaugural edition of the tournament. The left-arm-spinner-cum-left-hand-batsman who made a humble beginning playing school cricket went on to captain the UAE U16 and U19 squads including the one that participated in the 2020 ICC U19 World Cup, where he played a crucial role in their qualification. Aryan believes the DP World ILT20 provides a massive platform for young players like him. “Season 1 was a great success and going forward the tournament is only going to get a lot bigger with more superstars coming in. Getting a chance to play alongside them is an opportunity everyone looks for.” “I think if players like us do well in this tournament and show the world that we are as good as any of the players coming in, it could help us get a chance to be a part of any of the franchise-based leagues that take place around the world,” he said.Aryan also looks forward to interacting with all the big names that’ll be a part of the 2024 edition of the tournament scheduled to begin in January. “Our team has the likes of Alex Hales, Colin Munro and Azam Khan so I look forward to sharing the field with them. David Warner, a modern-day legend, is also a part of this tournament and I would love to be able to interact with him,” he said. “Azam Khan is one of the cleanest strikers of the cricket ball you’ll see and we bat in similar situations so I’d definitely pick his brain on a thing or two and try to replicate his style in my game,” he concluded.

Islamabad: The final match was played between Punjab and Islamabad at Government Viqar un Nisa Cricket Ground Rawalpindi Punjab  won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Islamabad Blind Women Cricket Team set the competitive total of 205 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. Kiran Rafiq played a splendid innings of 78 runs. Nimra was their second-highest run-getter with 57 runs.

Punjab Blind Women Cricket Team in reply made 178 runs in allotted 20 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Nisha Bax was the top scorer; she played a superb innings of unbeaten 66* runs while Bisma made 30 runs. Qandeel Fatima claimed  1 wicket.

Result: Islamabad Blind Women Cricket Team won by 28 runs.

Mr Zohaib Khan Head of Marketing, Cheezious, Madam Zahida Principal, Viqar un Nisa College for Women Rawalpindi, Syed Sultan Shah Chairman, PBCC, Mr Naveed Hussain Abbasi, Event Director & General Secretary ICCB were the guests of the occasion and distributed prizes amongst the players.

1st T-20 Blind Women Cricket Series was organized by Pakistan Blind Cricket Council from 19th to 21st December 2023 in Islamabad. Two teams named Punjab and Islamabad participated in this event. The event was funded by the Cheesiouse Pakistan.
