Pakistan super league (PSL) 9 is in progress but most of the seats looks vacant in the stadium stands due to expensive tickets .Hbl PSL administration increases the tickets price in the running editions which effects the game and people cannot purchase the tickets. According to the details regarding ticket prices, the tickets for the final to be played on 18 march at national bank stadium Karachi have been set at PKR 8000(VIP),PKR 4000 (Premium),PKR 2500 and PKR 1000 for general. The tickets for the qualifier will be sold for PKR 5000 ( VIP), PKR(2500) premium, PKR 1500 first class and PKR 750 for general spectators.
The cricket spectators while talking to “sporstnaama” has said that cricket is most popular game of Pakistan so the large number of spectators of cricket game is youth including school and college students who cannot afford the expensive tickets. From the starting of PSL 9 at Qaddafi stadium Lahore and so on till date stadiums are almost half empty during the matches which gives negative impact, the PSL administration should take necessary steps to reduce the ticket prices of PSL matches to attract the maximum spectators to the stadium for witnessing the matches of their favorite teams.
