of highlights. The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province will hold the “Gangwon
20.24 K-culture Festival” on Saturday, January 27th, and Sunday, 28th
in Pyeongchang and Gangneung.- At 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Pyeongchang Dome, the K-culturefestival will feature performances by gugak artist Park Ae-ri and
dancer poping Hyun-joon, and trot singers Kim Hee-jae, Park Gun,Cho Myung-seop, Yang Ji-eun, and Hong Ji-yoon.- On 28th (Sunday) at 4:00 PM, at Gangneung Hockey Center (GangdongUniversity Sebastian Sports Center), popular artists including ZeroBase One, Bebe, VIVIZI, Dynamic Duo, and more will take the stage,
adding to the excitement of the Youth Olympics.The world’s first ‘Olympic Friends’ and honorary volunteer of thisOlympics, actor Lee Dong-wook, will be attending the ‘Ice Hockey3-on-3 Semi-final’ at Gangneung Hockey Center on January 25th.He will be watching the event.
– 2 -On the 4th day of the competition, which was yesterday, a total of ᄋ
16 events across 9 disciplines were held, resulting in 30 medals being
awarded in 10 event. Daleman Angel from the Netherlands won a gold medal in the Women’s1500m Speed Skating event. This marks her second gold medal, followingher victory in the Women’s 500m Speed Skating on 22nd. Congratulationsto Daleman Angel for her remarkable achievements.
Korea won two medals in sliding event. So Jae-Hwan, a Torch Tourparticipant, won a gold medal after finishing first in the men’s monobobin bobsleigh. In the Men’s Skeleton event, athlete Shin Yeon-su wona bronze medal. This is the first ever gold medal for South Korea insledding at the Winter Youth Olympic Games.
– Jonathan LOURIMI, who participated in the 2018 PyeongChang Legacy Foundation’s New Horizons program, won a silver medal in the same event. Congratulations to Jonathan LOURIMI for bringing home the first medal for Tunisia
